Eric Chelle bonds with CHAN Eagles, Ogunmodede others in Ikenne

New Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle visited the camp of Super Eagles Team B - the CHAN Eagles in Ikenne on Tuesday as he continues to interact and bond with players, coaches and officials.

New Super Eagles Eric Chelle has started working a day after he was presented to the fans, media and other stakeholders in Abuja on Monday.

Eric Chelle paid a visit to the camp of Super Eagles Team B – the CHAN Eagles in Ikenne, Ogun State where he met with the players, coaches and officials.

The Super Eagles are gearing up for the 2025 African Nations Championship in East Africa. The tournament will be hosted by Tanzania, Uganda, and Kenya.

Eric Sekou Chelle visited technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation, Austin Eguavoen, former Super Eagles forward, Victor Ikpeba among other officials of the federation.

The ex-MC Oran coach met with Daniel Ogunmodede, the team’s stand-in coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu as well as the players as they congratulated him on his appointment as the new head coach of the three-time African champions.

Eric Chelle had a brief discussion with the players and coaches before watching their training session on Tuesday.

Chelle’s is expected to observe the team and play an advisory role during preparation and at the tournament as stipulated in his contract.

The ex-Malian coach signed a two-year contract with the option to renew for a further year.
