Manchester City needed a late goal from substitute Kevin De Bruyne to secure a 2-1 win over League One side Leyton Orient in the FA Cup 4th round.
The League One side went ahead in remarkable fashion after 16 minutes when a 40-yard lob by Tottenham loanee Jamie Donley hit City goalkeeper Stefan Ortega and bounced into the net.
Pep Guardiola, who saw his side demolished 5-1 by Arsenal last weekend, sprung into action, making two half-time changes.
Substitute Abdukodir Khusanov deflected Rico Lewis’ strike to level after 56 minutes, and it was game on from that point.
De Bruyne was brought on soon after and poked home with 11 minutes left to break Leyton hearts as the Premier League champions progressed into round five.
