Super Eagles legend, Ahmed Musa, has debunked a claim on social media that he handed out car gifts to players and staff of Kano Pillars on assumption of office as the club’s new General Manager.
An X user identified as “Jos_Baller” shared a tweet on his page that the former NPFL top scorer handed out cars to players and officials of the club as he assumed office.

However, the former Super Eagles captain, in a tweet, disregarded the news as he labeled it as “fake news”.
Ahmed Musa was recently appointed as Kano Pillars’ new General Manager as his enviable career on the pitch draws to an end.
The 32-year-old forward returned to the club for his third stint last season and scored 10 goals in 23 league matches.
Musa played for Kano Pillars between 2009 and 2010 and finished as the top scorer of the league with 18 goals – a record that has since been met, broken, and surpassed.
Ahmed Musa, having played for some teams in Europe and Asia will look to bring his wealth of experience to help steer Kano Pillars in the right direction administratively.
