Lookman, whose composed left-footed finish at the Gewiss Stadium cancelled out Samuele Ricci’s early opener for Milan, spoke to DAZN after the match, reflecting on his return to scoring form and fitness.

“It was important to be available to the team again,” he said, as quoted by Milan Press.
The 28-year-old acknowledged his ongoing recovery, stating, “I hope to get even more fit. It took me a while, but now we have to grow and aim to win the next few games.” He reinforced his priority, adding, “When I’m on the pitch, the most important thing is to help the team win.”
Lookman’s strike marked his first goal of the season and came at a crucial time for Atalanta, who had endured a frustrating run of five consecutive draws, struggling to turn dominance into results.
