Nigerian Afro pop singer Joeseph Akinwale otherwise known as “Joeboy” is confident Manchester United will win the Premier League this season.

Joeboy is a devot Manchester United fan and believes that the Red Devils will emerge champions of the league despite its current struggles.

The singer said this during a Premier League show on cable television on Friday while reacting to the appointment of new manager Ruben Amorim

“Manchester United is going to win the Premier League. We are going to win, just watch!!”

He also applauded the recent sacking of former coach Erik Ten Hag who believes failed to prove himself despite the resources he had.

“I’m happy that Ten Hag is out. He had enough chances to prove himself and he just couldn’t.”

“We were not getting any results. It got to a point where other teams were not scared of facing Manchester United. That really hurt my feelings,” Joeboy added.

Manchester United confirmed the appointment of Ruben Amorim as the club’s new manager on Thursday.

The 39-year-old Portuguese is will resume at the club on November 11.

Ruben Amorim led Sporting Lisbon to two league titles in 2021 and 2023.
