Moyes’ 10-man Everton grab famous win at Old Trafford over Amorim’s sloppy United

Everton ended their winless visits to Old Trafford on Monday night with a well-deserved win after more than a decade.

David Moyes’s men ended the 12 years debacle in commendable performance in a match saw the Toffees play with 10-men for most part of the tie.

Senegalese midfielder Idrissa Gueye got his marching order 13 minutes after getting into an altercation with his teammate Micheal Keane.

A few minutes later, former Leicester City Kernan Drewsbury-Hall powered a ferocious strike into the bottom corner to give the visitors the lead.

Manchester United looked out of sorts, disjointed, lethargic despite the numerical advantage over Everton.

Joshua Zirkzee, who got his first start of the season,  forced Jordan Pickford to two saves off his header late on in the game.
