The Nigeria Football Federation has released a condolence note following the death of the mother of Super Eagles’ winger Samuel Chukwueze, Mrs Sarah Chukwueze.
Chukwueze lost this mother on Thursday after battling with prolonged illness according to sources close to the family.
The football body shared a condolence message on its social media platforms to commiserate with the 26-year-old Fulham winger.
“We wish to express our heartfelt condolences to Samuel Chukwueze on the loss of his mother. Our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time”

The death of his mother comes days after Super Eagles’ captain Wilfred Ndidi lost to his father, Mr. Sunday Ndidi to a car accident.
