With a combined total of 229kg, Lawal not only placed Nigeria on the championship medal table but also reaffirmed her position as one of the country’s most consistent athletes on the international scene.

This achievement adds to an already decorated career that began with gold at the 2019 African Games in Rabat and continued with three gold medals in Accra last year. She also represented Nigeria at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, finishing fifth in her category.
