Rangers have appointed Giovanni Van Bronckhorst as their new manager and his subject to being granted a work permit.

The former Rangers player who played for the Scottish side between 1998-2001 won five trophies which included two league titles. Gio also played for Arsenal, Barcelona and Feyernoord. He started his coaching career at Feyernoord after he retired from active football to become the assistant manager to Ronald Koeman. And in 2015 he was announced as the new manager of Feyernoord.

The former Barca player won his first trophy the KNVB Cup in 2016 when his side defeated Utrecht 2-1 in the final. The next season he won the league for Feyernoord, a trophy that eluded them for 18 years. He left the Dutch side 2018-2019 season.
