The English Premier League has released the fixtures for the new football season, which is slated for August 15 across various match centers in the country.
A couple of Super Eagles players and future targets will be in action on the opening day, while others will kick-start their season in the subsequent days.
The standout fixture of the opening weekend will see Chido Obi Martin’s Manchester United welcome Ethan Nwaneri’s Arsenal to Old Trafford on August 17.
Ethan Nwaneri started against the Red Devils last season at Old Traddod, while his former academy teammate Chido Obi Martin stayed on the bench.
Ahmed Abdullahi, the former Flying Eagles striker, will look to make his Premier League debut when Sunderland welcome Westham United at the Stadium of Light.
Fulham’s duo Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey will start their season away from home, traveling to the American Express Stadium to take on Brighton Holves Albion.
Nottingham Forest trio Ola Aina, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Emmanuel Dennis will host Frank Onyeka and Benjamin Fredrick’s Brentford at the City Ground.
Super Eagles target Tosin Adarabioyo and Tyrique George are expected to be in the matchday squad as Chelsea take on reigning FA Cup holders Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge
Tim Iroegbunam starts the season with Everton as the Toffees travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United.
