Super Eagles goal-machine Victor Osimhen has urged Napoli to finalize his permanent transfer to Galatasaray, as revealed by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X late Tuesday.
Romano tweeted: “Victor Osimhen has informed Napoli of his desire to get the deal sealed with Galatasaray ASAP. Galatasaray will pay €75m as the release clause value, but negotiate payment terms over five years, as exclusively revealed.
Contract “ready since Sunday; until June 2028 plus option.”
Osimhen agreed to a three-year contract with a one-year option to join the Turkish champions.
The 26-year-old is one of the hottest strikers in Europe, but the financial restraints ended his hopes of securing his dream move to England. After scoring 37 goals while on loan at Galatasaray last season, this is a move that makes sense for all parties.
The Turkish side offers Champions League football and a chance for Osimhen to add to his goalscoring legacy.
