Paul Pogba linked with SHOCK transfer to Manchester City

Manchester City have reportedly made inquiries about signing France midfielder Paul Pogba when he becomes eligible to play again in March.

Pogba recently had his four-year ban reduced to 18 months and is currently a free agent after leaving Juventus in November.

City are exploring options to strengthen their squad, which has been depleted by injuries in recent months, and has caused a shocking downturn in form.

Pep Guardiola’s men have won just once in their last 10 games, and there is an acceptance that new faces must be brought in.

The team is particularly vulnerable in midfield following Rodri’s cruciate ligament injury, making Pogba a potential solution.

Guardiola has long been an admirer of Pogba’s skills, and the possibility of him joining City was even discussed during his time at Old Trafford.

Any move for the 32-year-old will be complicated by his allegiance to the red side of Manchester and his ties to Old Trafford. However, it remains to be seen how serious both parties are about a move.
