Arsenal tightened their grip at the top of the Premier League table after a narrow 1–0 win over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

In a twist of fate, it was former Palace star Eberechi Eze who grabbed the only goal of the game, guiding home a composed finish to secure a sixth straight league victory for Mikel Arteta’s men.

The Gunners now sit clear at the summit, showcasing both defensive solidity and attacking discipline.

Meanwhile, Manchester City suffered a setback in their title chase as Aston Villa sealed a deserved 1–0 victory at Villa Park. Matty Cash proved to be the hero, slotting in the winner early in the first half as Unai Emery’s side extended their impressive home form and handed Pep Guardiola’s men their third defeat of the season.

Elsewhere, Tottenham crushed Everton 3–0, Burnley edged Wolves 3–2, and Bournemouth beat Nottingham Forest 2–0.
