Barcelona forward Marcus Rashford has sent a clear warning to Real Madrid ahead of the highly anticipated El Clásico clash this weekend, declaring that facing their arch-rivals is the primary reason he moved to Spain.
The English forward has made a huge impact and is currently in top form since arriving from Manchester United on loan.

He showed his quality by scoring twice in Barcelona’s dominant 6-1 Champions League victory over Olympiacos on Tuesday. The 27-year-old has now contributed five goals and five assists for the Catalan club this season in all competitions.
The move to Spain has revitalized Rashford’s career after he had fallen out of favour with manager Ruben Amorim at his boyhood club, Manchester United, where he was deemed surplus to requirements.

Rashford, who is set for his first taste of the historic rivalry when Barcelona travels to the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday, stated his excitement about the opportunity:
“The match against Real Madrid is important and one of the reasons I came here,” Rashford stated, as reported by Metro. “I’m looking forward to it.”
A victory for Hansi Flick’s side would see them leapfrog their arch-rivals to claim the top spot in the LaLiga table.
