Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone has explained why Ademola Lookman started the second leg of the round of 16 playoffs against Club Brugge.

Ademola Lookman came off the bench and provided an assist to Alexander Sorloth, who bagged a hat-trick on the night.
Lookman has now scored four goals and has registered three assists in seven matches since he arrived at the club in January.
Atletico Madrid breezed past Club Brugge 4-1 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Tuesday night to progress into the round of 16 with a 7-4 aggregate scoreline.
