Super Falcons defender Sikiratu Isah has sealed a move to Israeli club Bnotnetanya FC after helping the team win a record tenth Women’s Africa Cup of Nations last month.
Sikiratu Isah, according to ACL Sports, signed with Bnotnetanya FC despite interest from other clubs in Europe.
The 28-year-old defender played in four of six matches en route to the Super Falcons’ victory over Morocco in the WAFCON final.
Isah played in the goalless draw against Algeria, the comprehensive 5-0 win over Zambia in the quarter-finals, the semi-final win over South Africa, and against Morocco in the final.
Sikiratu Isah is a central defender and was resolute in defense as he helped the Super Falcons achieve four clean sheets in the tournament.
Isah joins Bnotnetanya FC from Nasarawa Amazons as he begins a chapter of her career.
