Super Falcons to face Tunisia, Algeria in Group B of Women’s AFCON

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have been drawn to face Tunisia, Algeria and Botswana in Group B of the women’s AFCON.

The draws for the 2025 edition of the women’s tournament were held on Friday at the Technical Centre of the Mohamed VI Football Complex in Sale. The full draws were announced on the CAF official social media handles.

The hosts, Atlas Lionesses of Morocco will face Senegal, Zambia and DR Congo in Group A. Defending champions, Bayana Bayana of South Africa have been drawn against Ghana, Mali and Tanzania.

Nigeria are record holders of the competition having won it eleven times. They will be looking to reclaim the title for the twelfth time.

The tournament is scheduled to hold from July 6 – July 25, 2025.
