Nigeria international Terem Moffi is reportedly close to leaving OGC Nice, with the striker set to continue his career in Germany with Bundesliga side Hamburg.
According to French outlet Nice-Matin, Nice have reached an agreement with Hamburg in recent hours, with the transfer expected to be completed soon. The financial details of the proposed deal have not been disclosed.
Moffi, 27, had been placed among Nice’s unwanted players following his return from a loan spell and had been training with the club’s Elite group since pre-season.
The Nigerian forward had attracted interest from several clubs during the transfer window, but previous approaches failed to satisfy both the player and Nice. The situation now appears to have changed, with Hamburg reportedly meeting the conditions required for a deal.

Moffi joined Nice in 2023 after making his name in Ligue 1 with Lorient. However, his time on the French Riviera has been disrupted by injuries and inconsistent form, limiting his impact for the club.
Meanwhile, there has been no significant progress in the situation involving fellow Nice forward Elye Wahi.
Nice had hoped for an acceleration in negotiations with Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday, but talks remain difficult and are continuing between the two clubs.
For Moffi, however, a move to Hamburg could provide an opportunity to revive his career and regain regular playing time after a difficult spell at Nice.
