Chelsea attacker Joao Felix has requested to leave Stamford Bridge before the January transfer deadline due to his frustration over limited playing time.
According to reports, Felix is pushing for a departure after struggling to secure regular starts under manager Enzo Maresca.
Maresca has preferred Cole Palmer in the #10 position, with the likes of Pedro Neto and Jadon Sancho used ahead of Felix on the left wing.
Felix, who signed a seven-year deal with Chelsea last summer, has started just three Premier League matches this season.
He can also play as a striker but is behind Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku in the pecking order, with Chelsea exploring more attacking options.
The Blues are reportedly now exploring possible solutions following Felix’s decision.
The 25-year-old has been linked with a potential move to Premier League rival Aston Villa, whose manager Unai Emery is a big fan of the silky attacker.
