Vanessa Bryant, widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant, has addressed and dismissed recent rumors suggesting that she is pregnant.
On June 1, 2025, Vanessa took to Instagram Stories to share a meme featuring pop icon Rihanna, including one where Rihanna is shown flipping the middle finger while holding a drink, captioned “Me protecting my peace, not pregnant & having fun all summer.”
These posts aim to shut down unverified online speculation about her expecting a fifth child, five years after her late husband, NBA legend Kobe Bryant, died in a tragic helicopter crash in January 2020 along with their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna.
The rumors originated from unverified social media speculation and vague internet claims suggesting a romantic link between Vanessa and a 27-year-old NBA player.
However, Vanessa has not addressed these claims and remains focused on her family and preserving her peace rather than engaging with the gossip. She continues to honor Kobe’s legacy while maintaining her privacy and spending quality time with her children.
Vanessa, now 43, is a mother to three daughters: Natalia, Bianka, and Capri. She has not publicly dated since Kobe’s death. The couple married in 2001, and Vanessa continues to commemorate his memory, recently marking what would have been their 24th anniversary and his 46th birthday with heartfelt social media tributes.
Additionally, she honored their daughter Gianna by launching the Gianna Bryant Scholarship Award on what would have been her 19th birthday.
