Victor Boniface gifts Zlatan Ibile three cows for his upcoming wedding

Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has gifted street-pop star Zlatan Ibile three cows ahead of the singer’s wedding later this month. Zlatan shared a video of the cows on his social media page.

The gesture comes days after Zlatan and his longtime partner, Davita Lamai, announced October 24, 2026 as their wedding date. The couple shared the news in a pre-wedding video on Instagram on October 8, tagged #DTTheUnion, with a voiceover from one of their sons reflecting on their love story.

Cows are a prized gift at Nigerian celebrations, where they signal respect, generosity and goodwill toward the host. Boniface’s gift places him among the public figures rallying behind the “Zanku” hitmaker as the date approaches.

Zlatan and Davita share two sons, Shiloh and Benaiah, and have been together for several years. Their wedding is expected to draw family, friends and colleagues from the music and sports worlds.
