Super Eagles captain, Wilfred Ndidi took to his Instagram page to express his grief on the death of his father, Mr. Sunday Ndidi.
Wilfred Ndidi’s father died on Tuesday morning in Agbor, Delta State from fatal car accident in Umunede.
He was rushed to a clinic in Agbor but unfortunately gave up the ghost afterwards according to reports.
Wilfred Ndidi posted a picture of him and his late dad on his Instagram page as he mourned his death.
In the accompanying note, he revealed that he spoke to him in the morning and was full of life over the phone.
Hwe went on to mention that he dedicated his first-ever Super Eagles to him and did the “Papilo” dance to honour him.
“Eeraq, You call me this morning with excitement in your voice but deep down na goodbye yiu dey tell me…”
“What about the things we talked about? So we no go talk again, na only memories?…
“Even when I scored my first national team goal, I do that Papilo goal for you. But you just go like that EEraq…”
