Defending champions Chelsea maintained their lead at the top of the WSL table with a narrow 1-0 victory in the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur, thanks to a strike from Keira Walsh.

Manchester United kept up their chase by battling back from a goal down to claim a comprehensive 4-1 triumph over Everton. United showed resilience after Honoka Hayashi capitalized on a careless clearance to give the hosts the lead in the first-ever WSL game played at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Meanwhile, Manchester City came from behind to beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield, moving them up to second place. Arsenal also secured a much-needed win, ending a run of four games without a victory by beating Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0 at Emirates Stadium. Olivia Smith’s 15th-minute effort deflected in off Brighton’s Marisa Olislagers.
In other weekend action, West Ham fell to defeat against London City Lionesses, and Aston Villa drew 0-0 with Leicester City despite a dominant first-half display at Villa Park.
