Manchester City’s Champions League match against Feyenoord ended in a shocking 3-3 draw, despite City leading 3-0 after 75 minutes.
Erling Haaland scored twice, either side of an Ilkay Gundogan deflected strike, but Feyenoord staged a remarkable comeback, scoring three goals in the final 15 minutes.
Pep Guardiola was visibly frustrated on the touchline, and many fans noticed a cut on his nose. When asked about the injury, Guardiola revealed that it was self-inflicted.
‘With my finger, yeah, with my nail,” Guardiola said during his post-match press conference before mimicking the scrape along his nose which caused the wound.
The City boss then added with a smile: “I want to harm myself, yeah.”
The draw has left Manchester City 15th in the Champions League table, two points behind an automatic spot in the knockout stage. Their next challenge is a trip to Anfield to face league leaders Liverpool, who are in excellent form.
