Ademola Lookman reportedly missed training yesterday as he attempts to force a move out of Atalanta this summer before the start of the new football season.
Lookman is forcing a move out of the club after revealing his intention to leave before the end of the 2024/2025 season, where he helped the club qualify for the Champions League.
The Super Eagles forward has been heavily linked with a move to Inter Milan and communicated his desire to join the 20-time Serie A champions.
Lookman, on Sunday, 3rd August, issued a transfer request indicating his intention to leave Atalanta after the Bergamo-based club rejected Inter Milan’s latest bid for the 27-year-old.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year accused Atalanta of blocking his potential move to the Serie A side in a post he shared on his X feed on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Atalanta’s Chief Executive Officer, Luca Percassi, told the media that Ademola Lookman can only leave the club on two conditions.
