Super Eagles duo, Samuel Chukwueze and Semi Ajayi were impressive for their respective teams over the weekend.
Chukwueze earned a start in Marco Silva’s first eleven after he provided the winner in Fulham’s win over Sunderland last week.
The Super Eagles winger started on the left flank and put in another brilliant performance in the victory against Tottenham away from home.
Chukwueze provided the assist for the first goal as Fulham earned a 2-1 win over the hosts.
The 26-year-old winger placed a pass to Kenny Taste whose deflected shot landed in the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Semi Ajayi’s first goal also earned him a Man of the Match plaque on Saturday.
The Super Eagles defender scored the opener as Hill City picked maximum points – 2-1 away at Stoke City.
Samuel Chukwueze and Semi Ajayi, except for injuries, are expected to be named in Eric Chelle’s team for the Africa Cup of Nations next month.
