Super Eagles striker Tolu Arokodare says it will be dream to play in the Premier League amid links to a number of clubs in the English Premier League.
Arokodare has also been linked to other clubs in Europe but it appears that the 24-year-old prefers a move to England.
The Genk striker is enjoying a brilliant season so far with 22 goals, five assists in 41 appearances across all competitions.
While reacting to the rumors, Arokodare says he is focused on the moment given that the future is uncertain but a move to England won’t be bad.
For the media noise, I just try to stay focused and keep a clear head,” Arokodare said to Sports Boom.
The future is unwritten, but like many players, it’s a dream of mine to one day play in the Premier League.
Arokodare has contract obligation with Genk until the end of the 2026/2027 season but the striker, based on his contract form is likely to move if any of the Premier League clubs he is linked to meets his valuation.
Newcastle and Fulham are reported to be interested in the striker ahead of the summer transfer window. Other clubs that also want the services of the striker include Benfica, Trabzonspor and a number of German Bundesliga clubs even the rumors are still paper talks.
