Back and firing! Bukayo Saka helps Arsenal win London derby over Fulahm

Bukayo Saka marked his return to the pitch in style as he scored in Arsenal’s derby win over Fulham.

Saka stopped on to the grass of the Emirates Stadium for the first time in three months on Tuesday night.

The English striker came on for Ethan Nwaneri six minutes after the hour mark seven minutes later to double Arsenal’s lead.

Mikel Arteta’s make-shift striker Mikel Merino put the Gunners ahead in the 37th minute.

The Spanish midfielder received Ethan Nwaneri’s pass and buried the ball into the bottom-left corner of Leno’s goal.

Arsenal controlled large swarth of the match and put themselves in good position to secure maximum points as Bukayo Saka scored from a header in the 73rd minute.

Fulham put a late pressure on Arsenal’s defense late in the match and it paid off as the visitors grabbed a consolation in added time of the 90.

Rodrigo Muniz’s deflected shot went past a helpless David Raya as the match ended 2-1 in favour of Arsenal.

Meanwhile former Arsenal academy graduate Alex Iwobi came on a second half substitute for Fulham but couldn’t help the Cottagers leave the Emirates with a point.
