Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Manchester United, leaving Newcastle potentially out of the race to sign him.
The 22-year-old striker is now close to signing for the Red Devils as talks continue between RB Leipzig and Manchester United.
Šeško’s decision to join the Red Devils comes after RB Leipzig accepted Newcastle’s €90 million bid for the striker.
Manchester United also submitted a bid of €85 million for Sesko yesterday, but it appears from reports in Germany that the Slovenian striker prefers a move to Old Trafford.
Football transfers expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the player has already agreed on personal terms as he waits fro RB Leipzig and Manchester United to agree on the transfer fee.
Benjamin Šeško, according to reports, has also agreed on a five-year contract until 2030.
The 22-year-old striker is set to become Ruben Amorim’s third summer signing after the arrival of Mattheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bryan Mbuemo from Brentford.
