Former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua narrowly escaped death car crash that claimed the lines of two people in the Makun area of Ogun State according to reports.
Punch Newspaper reports that the Lexus Jeep which carried Anthony Joshua collided with a stationary truck along the Makun axis of the bust Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Joshua, who’s currently in Nigeria on holiday for the festive season is said to have sustained minor injuries while two people inside the car have reportedly died on the spot.
An update from the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says a Lexus Jeep involved in the incident was suspected to be travelling “beyond the legally prescribed speed limit”.
The government agency say the car lost control in an attempt to overtake another car and crashed into a stationary truck by the side of the road.
