Leroy Sane has completed a move to Turkish Super League champions Galatasaray on a free transfer after a five-year stint at Bayer Munich.
The German forward reportedly rejected a new contract to remain at Bayern Munich as he preferred a move to the Turkish champions.
Sane joins Galatasaray for free and will travel to Istanbul tonight to sign a contract that will see him remain at the club until 2028.
With Victor Osimhen’s future undecided, with Leroy Sane, Galatasaray have a decent goal scorer and another creative outlet in the team.
The Super Eagles striker led Galatasaray to a domestic double last season with 37 goals in 41 matches, but he’s reluctant to remain at the club ahead of the new football season.
Osimhen, last week, rejected a move to Al Hilal after the Saudi Arabian club agreed a €75 million fee with Napoli for his services.
Leroy Sane, the former Manchester City forward, leaves Bayern Munich with 61 goals and 55 assists in 220 appearances over five years.
Sane won four Bundesliga titles, one DFL SuperCup, one FIFA Club World Cup, and one UEFA Super Cup.
