Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has revealed he is eager to see another former Arsenal teammate join him at Craven Cottage this summer.
Iwobi began his career at Arsenal and won the FA Cup with the Gunners in 2017 before moving to Everton in 2019 and joining Fulham in 2023.

In an interview with Standard Sport, the Nigerian international admitted he has been keen to see Nelson return to the club after his loan spell last season.
Arsenal are reportedly open to selling Nelson, who is available to interested clubs during the current transfer window. The winger spent last season on loan at Fulham but managed just 12 appearances due to a hamstring injury that required surgery.

Despite his limited game time, Iwobi praised the winger’s explosive qualities and sharpness, expressing hope that he will soon be back to full fitness.
“His style of play is very explosive. He is very sharp. I just hope that he returns fit and healthy as soon as possible.
It is nice to see him back at Fulham, because we know the sort of player he is,” Iwobi said.
Iwobi also joked that several Fulham players have been trying to persuade Nelson to make the move permanent.
“There is a specific group chat, I am not going to name names, but a lot of people are pressuring him, trying to find out what is going on! Me, I am not one of them,” he said with a laugh.
Nelson’s future at Arsenal remains unclear, with competition for places under Mikel Arteta limiting his opportunities.
