Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged the Gunners to pursue Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman, who recently submitted a transfer request.
Atalanta rejected multiple bids from Inter Milan for their talisman, but there is an acceptance that this is his last season in Bergamo.

He has been linked with several clubs over the past 6 months but Inter remain the only team to make concrete offers.
Wright sees the 27-year-old Super Eagles forward as a “top player” with “unfinished business” in the Premier League, believing he could be the key to Arsenal winning the title.
Speaking on his podcast, Wright said: “I hope we can buy him, Arsenal. I would love someone like him to come back to the Premier League and say, ‘Listen, I have unfinished business here, so I am going to help Arsenal win the league. ’

“But I just admire his journey, and now he’s recognised rightly as a top player, unbelievable.”
Lookman, the reigning CAF Player of the Year, scored 52 goals in three seasons at Atalanta, including a hat-trick in their 2024 Europa League final triumph.
