In England, Mo Salah scored an amazing curler as Liverpool came from behind to defeat Brighton in a 2-1 win. Brighton scored first with a goal from Kadioglou in the first half.
Before the goal, Salah was put through on goal in the second half but could not find the back of the net. In the 71st minute, Jones put Salah in through on goal again, and the Egyptian scored. Salah cut in on his left foot and curled the ball into the back of the net.
Salah’s goal is his 9th of the season. It also sees him go one ahead of Liverpool favourite, Robbie Fowler. Fowler is currently on 167 goals. With his goal, Salah has gone one ahead to climb into 8th position. This sees him less than 15 goals behind Thierry Henry and Frank Lampard.
With a long season ahead, Salah will be looking to increase his tally and break as many goal scoring records as he can.
