Ola Aina: Super Eagles star settles Afrobeats war, ranks best Nigerian artistes

Ola Aina is one of the most consistent Nigerian players in Europe at the moment.

Despite being excellent at his job, the Nottingham Forest man is gaining even more fans for his reliability and humility.

Aina remains close to his roots despite the fame and recognition, often seen hanging out with fellow Super Eagles stars and Nigerian celebrities.

Speaking on ‘The Inside Scoop Podcast’, Aina was asked to rank the biggest Afrobeats artistes in Nigeria; Burna Boy, Davido, Asake, and Wizkid in descending order.

The list generated a lot of conversation on social media with fans of all artistes asking for higher placement for their favourites, and others questioning the exclusion of the likes of Rema and Tems.

However, Aina stuck to his guns.

The 28-year-old has been in excellent form for Forest this season and could become the subject of a bidding war in the summer, with the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City keen on adding the Nigerian to their team for next season.
