Victor Osimhen wrapped up an impressive season with Galatasaray, scoring his 37th goal across all competitions in a 2-0 victory over Istanbul Basaksehir on the final day of the Turkish Süper Lig.
The 26-year-old Nigerian striker played a key role at Rams Park, first earning a penalty that Dries Mertens converted, then powering in a strong header to seal the win.

His 26 league goals secured him the Süper Lig top scorer title and set a new record for the most goals by a foreign player in a single season in Galatasaray’s history.
Fans at Rams Park chanted his name after he was substituted, with a thunderous round of applause, as they continue to hope that the Nigerian will stay with them. The result capped an 11-match winning streak for the club, underlining their strong finish to the campaign.
The Nigerian’s consistent scoring has been central to Galatasaray’s success during his loan spell this term, and will add the Golden Boot award to his league and cup double.
