Premier League announces March nominees for March Player and Manager of the month awards

The Premier League has unveiled the nominees for the EA SPORTS Player of the Month and Barclays Manager of the Month awards for March 2025.

 

EA SPORTS Player of the Month Nominees

1. Jean-Ricner Bellegarde (Wolverhampton Wanderers)

The versatile midfielder provided assists for all three of Wolves’ goals during an unbeaten March, contributing to a 1-1 draw against Everton and a 2-1 victory over Southampton.

2. Anthony Elanga (Nottingham Forest) Elanga scored two goals in Forest’s 4-2 win over Ipswich Town, showcasing his attacking prowess.

 

3. Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

The United captain played a pivotal role in midfield, leading his team to a 1-1 draw with Arsenal and a 3-0 victory over Leicester City.

 

4. Nikola Milenkovic (Nottingham Forest)

The center-back delivered a stellar defensive performance in the 1-0 win against Manchester City and scored in the triumph over Ipswich Town.

 

5. Declan Rice (Arsenal)

Rice netted his first goal of the year in the draw against Manchester United and was instrumental in the 1-0 victory over Chelsea.

 

6. Jan Paul van Hecke (Brighton & Hove Albion)

The defender scored his first Premier League goal in a 2-1 comeback win against Fulham and contributed to a 2-2 draw at Manchester City.

 

Barclays Manager of the Month Nominees

1. Ruben Amorim (Manchester United)

Amorim’s side secured four points from two matches, drawing 1-1 with Arsenal and defeating Leicester City 3-0, extending their unbeaten league run to four matches.

 

2. Fabian Hurzeler (Brighton & Hove Albion)

Hurzeler guided Brighton to a 2-1 victory over Fulham and a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Manchester City, keeping them in contention for Europe qualification.

 

3. Nuno Espirito Santo (Nottingham Forest)

Nuno led Forest to two wins in March, including a notable 1-0 victory over Manchester City and a 4-2 triumph against Ipswich Town, bolstering their league standing.

Fans can vote for their preferred candidates on the Premier League’s official website. Voting closes at 12:00 BST on Monday, 31 March.

The winners will be determined through a combination of public votes and selections from a panel of football experts, with announcements expected next week.
