Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) clinched their 13th Trophée des Champions title with a 1-0 victory over AS Monaco, thanks to Ousmane Dembélé’s stoppage-time goal.
The match, held at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar, was fiercely contested, with both teams creating several scoring opportunities. PSG dominated possession and registered 27 attempts on goal but were repeatedly thwarted by Monaco’s goalkeeper, Philipp Köhn.
As the game seemed destined for a penalty shootout, Dembélé broke the deadlock in injury time, securing the win for PSG. This victory marks PSG’s third consecutive French Super Cup triumph, underscoring their dominance in French football.
The match was played under challenging conditions, with intense heat affecting the pace of play. Despite this, PSG’s resilience and depth shone through, with notable performances from players like Vitinha and Kang-in Lee.
