Head coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Eric Chelle, has reportedly not been paid since the end of August.

BBC Africa Sports journalist, Oluwashina Okeleji, made the revelation on his X page with nine days to the start of the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

According to Okeleji, the Nigeria Football Federation are yet to pay Eric Chelle for the past three months.

However, the Franco-Malian manager has not made the issue public, as he focuses on the AFCON, which kicks off on December 21.
