Super Eagles target Tosin Adarabioyo names favorite Nigerian meal

Super Eagles target, Tosin Adarabioyo has a a strong connection with the country aside from his first name.

The Chelsea Football Club central defender, just like some of his colleagues with Nigerian roots, enjoy local delicacies.

Tosin Adarabioyo says his favorite Nigerian meal is pounded yam and okro soup which is popular among the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria.

Adarabioyo made this revelation in a post match conference after Chelsea beat Fluminense 2-0 to qualify for the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.

The Super Eagles target wore a smile on his face as he responded to the question posed at him by one of journalists in the green area.

Adarabioyo was on for the entire duration of the match as the Blues qualified for another major final following their UEFA Conference League success in May.

Tosin Adarabioyo, in the absence of suspended Levi Colwill was impressive in defense as he helped his team keep their third clean sheet of the competition.

Adarabioyo will look to keep this place in the starting line-up when Chelsea take on Real Madrid or reigning European champions PSG in Sunday’s final.

Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are keen on Tosin Adarabioyo to switch nationality and feature for the Super Eagles.

The 27-year-old former Manchester City Under-23 defender says he will make a decision on his international career soon in a recent interview.
