Newly signed Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi has shared his reasons for joining the north London club.
The 26-year-old pointed to Mikel Arteta’s style of play as the driving force behind his decision.
The Spanish international, with 236 appearances, 10 goals, and 9 assists for Real Sociedad, moved to Arsenal for a reported £60 million in a deal running until 2030.
Speaking to the club’s website, the EURO 2024 winner said, “Once I made the decision to leave, I set my sights on Arsenal because I think their style of play is a good fit for me.”
He praised Arsenal as a youthful, highly motivated, and ambitious squad.
Zubimendi believes the best is yet to come for Arteta’s team and vowed to give everything to help restore the former Premier League champions to their former glory.
