Remo Stars got the better of Shooting in the battle of the stars at the Ikenne Stadium on matchday 14 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The Sky Blue Stars ended their streak of winless run with a 2-0 win over Shooting Stars over the Oluyole Warriors.

Alimi Sikiru put the home side ahead on the stroke of halftime via the penalty spot as he scored his second league goal of the season.

The home side were dominant for most part of the game while 10-man Shooting Stars struggled to impress in the derby.

Olamilekan Adedayo doubled the lead for Remo Stars after Mustapha Lawal parried the ball to his direction from Mawuena’s header.
