Elsewhere, RB Leipzig showed their strength by defeating Köln 3-1. The home side secured their third win in a row with goals from Assan Ouédraogo, Rômulo, and a stunning free-kick from David Raum.
In a surprise result, Mainz delivered a dominant 4-1 victory at FC Augsburg. Mainz’s win was particularly impressive as they played with ten men for a period of the second half, with the goals coming from Kaishu Sano, Dominik Kohr, Paul Nebel, and Armindo Sieb.
