Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in a two-match international friendly series later this month and in March as preparations continue for upcoming continental assignments.

The first game is scheduled for 28 February 2026 in Yaoundé the capital of Cameroon, while the second encounter will be played on 3 March 2026 in the same venue. Both fixtures are part of Nigeria’s build-up programme aimed at sharpening the squad’s competitive edge.

The friendly series comes at a crucial period for the Super Falcons, who are intensifying preparations ahead of major international competitions, and comes just a day after the Four-Nations tournament was cancelled.

The matches will offer the coaching crew an opportunity to assess player fitness, tactical adjustments, and squad depth.

Meetings between Nigeria and Cameroon have historically produced intense contests, with both sides among Africa’s most consistent performers in women’s football. Cameroon remain one of the continent’s most physically disciplined teams and are expected to provide a strong test.

For Nigeria, the games will also serve as a platform for evaluating emerging players alongside established stars as the technical team continues fine-tuning plans.
