Premier League giants Chelsea are already identifying key targets for next season.
Manager Enzo Maresca has set his sights on Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi as his top target for the summer transfer window.
The Blues believe they are in pole position to sign the 24-year-old, who came through Chelsea’s youth ranks before joining Palace in 2021.
Maresca wants to strengthen his defensive options ahead of next season, and Guehi’s contract situation makes him an attractive target.

With only 12 months left on his deal, Palace may be forced to sell, allowing Chelsea to bring him back to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea’s confidence in securing Guehi’s signature stems from his emotional attachment to the club, as well as the chance for him to return to his former team.
Additionally, signing Guehi would allow Chelsea to fill their homegrown quota, making him an even more appealing prospect.
Guehi has become a key player for England and has played a crucial role in Palace’s FA Cup semi-final run. His addition to Maresca’s squad would undoubtedly be a significant boost for the Blues.
