Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala suffered another worrying health scare after collapsing on the pitch during his side’s 4-2 friendly victory over Heidenheim.
The 23-year-old Germany international was introduced in the 61st minute but was forced off shortly afterwards after appearing to lose consciousness on the pitch.
Medical staff immediately attended to Musiala, who was eventually able to walk off the field with assistance.
The incident comes less than a week after Musiala fainted during Bayern’s friendly against RB Leipzig, with intense heat reported to have contributed to the earlier episode.
Bayern have since provided a positive update on Musiala’s condition, easing concerns following the latest incident.
The midfielder will now be monitored closely as Bayern assess his condition following two similar scares in a matter of days.
