Ansu Fati scored twice on his Ligue 1 debut as Monaco beat Metz 5-2 on Sunday, moving them up to second place and level on points with leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old, on loan from Barcelona, came on as a second-half substitute and scored with his first touch before adding a second late on with a header.

Fati, who was once predicted to be a world superstar, has battled a series of injuries that have impacted his confidence. His brace suggests he is finally finding his form again.

PSG-Marseille Derby Postponed

The highly anticipated French soccer derby between Marseille and Paris Saint-Germain was postponed by almost 24 hours due to severe weather forecasts. The match will now be played on Monday evening.

The postponement has created a scheduling headache for PSG, as several of their players and coach Luis Enrique are nominated for the Ballon d’Or ceremony, also scheduled for Monday evening in Paris.
