Paris Saint-Germain extended its perfect start to the French league with a 2-0 victory over Lens on Sunday.
However, the win was overshadowed by a mounting injury crisis ahead of their Champions League opener against Atalanta.

The European champions were already missing key players and finished the game with more sidelined, including Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Lee Kang-in, and Lucas Beraldo.
PSG coach Luis Enrique expressed concern after the match. “The competition that everyone in football loves is coming up,” he said. “It is a difficult time for us because we have injured players… It is about our ability to adapt, and we need to respond as a team.”
Elsewhere, Lyon suffered a late 3-1 defeat at Rennes after a complete collapse following a red card to Tyler Morton in the 75th minute. The loss was Lyon’s first of the season.
The biggest story of the day came from Lille’s 2-1 win over Toulouse, where Ethan Mbappé, the younger brother of Kylian, scored his first-ever Ligue 1 goal.

The teenager, a second-half substitute, connected with a cross in added time to fire a superb volley into the top corner and secure all three points for Lille.
