Al Nassr began the match assertively, controlling possession and creating early opportunities. The breakthrough came in the 25th minute when midfielder Ali Al Hassan scored, assisted by Mohamed Simakan, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead.
As the half progressed, Al Nassr continued to press, and their efforts were rewarded just before halftime. In the 44th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty, doubling the lead to 2-0.
Al Wasl attempted to regroup after the break, but Al Nassr’s defense remained resolute. In the 78th minute, Ronaldo scored his second goal of the match, assisted by Sadio Mané, extending the lead to 3-0.
The final goal came in the 88th minute when Mohammed Al Fatil found the net, with an assist from Marcelo Brozović, sealing a comprehensive 4-0 victory for Al Nassr.
This victory strengthens Al Nassr’s position in the AFC Champions League Elite group stage, as they sit third on the table with 16 points from 7 games, three behind table toppers, Al Ahli.
