Bologna continued their impressive early-season form by defeating Cagliari 2–0, showcasing their growing attacking fluidity.
Meanwhile, Atalanta and Lazio cancelled each other out in a tactical 0–0 draw, while Genoa and Parma also shared the spoils in a goalless encounter.
